Petlog, managed by The Kennel Club, is the UKs largest pet reunification service with over 2 million records on their database. Petlog reunification service is on hand 24 hours a day to authorised bodies such as dog wardens and animal welfare centres. When they scan the animals microchip, they are able to trace the owners via the Petlog database.
The RFID Microchip
The Pet-ID microchips are the latest ISO standard FDXB format readable by any ISO FDXA/B scanner worldwide. The microchips come in a pre-packed sterile format. Accurate implant techniques at the implant site are vital in the prevention of chip migration.
